At NBT, we truly believe the best way to experience the magic of a hot air balloon flight, is through a Private Experience
Therefore, we do not offer Shared Flights- Rather than cram as many strangers into a basket as possible, we specialize in offering Private Balloon Flights and Custom Tailored Experiences. 

All passengers are accepted at the discretion of the pilot in command and must sign a liability waiver indicating acceptance of associated risks. Your safety is our first priority and certain conditions must be met to fly. It is your responsibility to review these requirements and alert us of any discrepancies. It is critically important that you provide us accurate information, especially when it comes to passenger weight. All of this information is private and used solely for safe flight planning. Balloons require a delicate range of weight and inaccuracies may force cancellations.

 All Passengers:

• Must be at least seven years old and 48" tall in order to see outside the basket. (Waiverable at PIC discretion, Call for information)

• Must be physically capable of enduring the following:

  • Standing for at least 90 minutes

  • Walking 500 feet over uneven terrain

  • Dropping from 24" (roughly the height of a dining chair)

• Must be in good health and alert us of any pre-existing conditions.

• Must provide accurate weights, (contact us prior to booking if the average weight of your party exceeds 225 pounds per person)

• Passengers under 18 must have a legal guardian present.

• Must not be pregnant.

• Must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the flight.

Individuals with heart conditions, back or hip problems, weak knees or ankles, fainting spells, recent surgeries of any kind, or any other ailments should check with their doctor and also inform us of these conditions. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the information above, please contact us before booking your flight.

General - Your Safety is our Top Priority - We understand that in many cases our passengers have been anxiously awaiting their bucket list adventure for months. Unfortunately, ballooning operations are extremely dependent. As such, cancellations are possible and at the discretion of your Pilot. Please know that we are as excited as you are when it comes to sharing the wonders of balloon flight with our passengers. However, our first priority is the safety and well being of everyone and everything involved. This includes passengers, pilots, crew members, equipment, and the persons or property we may encounter along the way. Your pilot is keenly aware of the many factors that may affect the flight which may be seen or felt at the surface.

Cancellations by the operator (us) may occur at any time, for any reason, prior to flight departure. Passengers will be notified as soon as possible following determination. Passengers will be offered the opportunity to re-book the experience at no additional cost. Customer deposits do not expire, and passengers may elect to defer rescheduling to a later date.  If a customer does not wish to reschedule following cancellation by the operator, they will be entitled to a full refund of advanced deposit(s) paid to the company.

Cancellations by the customer (you) must be completed at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled activity in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations received between 72-24 hours in advance of the scheduled activity will forfeit the full amount of any required deposit. Cancellations within 24 hours, no-shows, or those due to passenger non-compliance with requirements will be charged the full amount of the booked activity. 

• Be ready for fun - Balloons create smiles wherever they go. 

• Dress Appropriately -  Wear comfortable, layered clothing suitable for the weather. Closed-toe shoes (like sneakers) are recommended as you may be walking on uneven terrain

• Eat lightly - Enjoy a light meal prior to the flight. Avoid heavy foods and alcohol

• Use the Restroom - There are no services in the sky. We recommend using the restroom prior to arrival at your launch site

• Don't forget your camera!
